Advice for the Class of 2013

What would you tell a graduate?

The North Reading High School Class of 2013 graduates Friday. We asked residents to give them advice. Here are some words of wisdom:

De Keimach said, "The world does not owe you anything - work hard and always take the high road."

"Use common sense at all times. It is a skill that so many people ignore," Mel Webster said.

Scott Alley said, "It might be the end of high school, but its only the beginning of what life has to teach you."

"You're going to miss this time and you will miss your classmates," Amy Ramsey Wilen said. "Enjoy the next week then go on and do great things. 20 [plus] years since we marched but I still love seeing, talking to and hanging out with my fellow classmates."

Calista Tait said, "Make choices that let you keep your options open. If you go to college, don't let that determine the rest of your life, let it be a stepping stone to what you really want to be doing. Life can take some awesome unexpected turns."

"Don't forget where you came from and all the people who helped you get where you are today," Erin Foley said.
