I think the town did a great job keeping up with the plowing. I live on a main road and it was pretty clear throughout the storm. Also, kudos to the governor for keeping traffic off the streets so the plows could do their job.

I found that the streets are great but the sidewalks are a different story. I went to Reading today and the sidewalks were just as bad. What was done, they left a mound close to the road, so if you parked a car a passenger would not be able to get out.

Geez, how long will the site continue to beat the proverbial dead horse? We had a lot of snow. The roads got plowed. This is New England, not Florida. End of story.

Laurel Road and Hickory Lane were poorly done. There is still 4 inches of slush as of today, three days later.

The DPW did a great job & continue to do a great job in cleaning up the snow off roads. The sidewalks which were plowed by the town are ok. I just wish they would re-plow as they do roads & maintain as melting occurs. Also it would be great if residents and commercial owners could clear and maintain their sidewalks as well. Thanks to all those who have cleared their sidewalks!

We are forced to walk our children in the road because the sidewalks are not cleared. This is common for every storm, every year and will take weeks to be plowed. Either care for the sidewalks or require the residents to clear them. Otherwise this auto loving town has beautiful clear streets.

Whatever happened to the new law that Main St businesses must clear their sidewalks or be fined ?

THe sidewalk snow removal by-law is driven by complaints to the Police Dept., Call the Selectmen to ask them to enforce the by-law & find a way to encourage residents to clear sidewalks and hydrants infront of their homes.

Today I found the path to my mailbox plowed in. So I'm lowering my rating.
