Two Lynn Residents Arrested for Shoplifting

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.
Arrests
At 3:38 p.m. on Monday, Tammy Spillane, 36, of 56 Essext St., in Lynn, and Stasia Berry, 32, of 99 Kirtland St., in Lynn, were both arrested for shoplifting over $100 worth of merchandise from Marshalls and receiving stolen property over $250.
Monday, Feb. 13
- At 1:20 p.m., an emergency caller reported being verbally assaulted while at the Walgreens' drive-through. The caller stated that the driver of a Heineken truck was shouting obscenities at her. Police located the truck driver who said the caller cut him off and that he did not use obscenities.
- At 1:44 p.m., the owner of Parker's Pit Stop reported that a male was behind his shop taking scrap metal. Police located the male and asked him to return the metal.
- At 3:10 p.m., an employee from Walmart reported a theft. Police put out a be on the lookout. Billerica Police located the suspects and recovered the stolen property.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
- At 3:04 p.m., an unknown caller reported that a vehicle did not stop for a school bus on Main Street.
