The Town of North Reading is hosting a Welcome Home celebration for Alex Carpenter, who won a silver medal in the Olympics with the USA Women's Hockey Team last month.
The event will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8 at Ipswich River Park.
Organizers are asking people to arrive early -- and show up wearing patriotic colors.
