Preschoolers make valentines for local seniors

As a way to introduce our kids to the concept of giving back and helping others, the North Reading Moms & Tots Group hosts seasonal play dates where kids create a special craft for local seniors. Through a collaboration with the Edith A. O'Leary Senior Center, these crafts are delivered to the 40+ home-delivered meals clients in town.

After distributing this month's "paper hug" valentines, senior center director Mary Prenney thanked the Moms & Tots Group saying that the seniors in town were "delighted with these colorful little gifts." Many thanks to the moms and kids who helped create these special valentines, and to the senior center for delivering the crafts and bringing smiles to local seniors!

We invite you to get more information [link to http://www.meetup.com/North-Reading-Moms-Tots] about the North Reading Moms & Tots Group activities, including the upcoming St. Patrick's Day craft activity, scheduled for March 6.
