Sneak Peek: Parks and Rec Fall Programs

The North Reading Parks and Recreation’s Fall 2013 Brochure will be available mid-September. Until then, here is a sneak peek of what you can expect to find!

"We have a lot of programming coming back such as hiking, tumbling, cooking and a large variety of other classes," said Recreation Director Lynne Clemens.

Here are some other items you will see on the brochure, according to Clemens:

Returning Pee Wee Soccer program

The Pee Wee Soccer program is for kids ages three to six. It begins the week of Sept. 23. The program is offered on weekday mornings, afternoons and Saturdays.

Toddler Programs

Most toddler programs begin the week of Sept. 30.

"We are going to have some toddler cheering coming here for the first time in the fall," Clemens said.

School-Aged Programs

There will be a new fashion design course offered as well as a science class called Work-It-Circuit and those will take place after school.

Parks and Recreation will also offer several one day events for half-days at school, Clemens said.

Adult Programs

Parks and Rec has adults covered, too! Look out for Yoga classes, Ladies Floral Nights Out and Kickboxing classes.

You can also plan to take part in the fall foliage train trip to central New Hampshire and Lake Winnepesaukee on Oct. 2.

Check in with us in a week or two for more details on all of the programs, or check the Parks and Recreation website in mid-September for more information.
