When is Trick-or-Treating in North Reading?

Welcome to You Ask... Patch Answers where we answer readers questions. We recently received questions about Halloween trick-or-treating. Readers want to know when trick-or-treating will take place in town this year. Here's your answer.

Trick-or-treating will take place on October 31, Halloween night. According to Parks and Recreation Operations Director/Department Head Maureen Stevens, the time children start trick-or-treating is a "parent decision." However, she said that kids usually head out after 5 p.m.

This year the town will also celebrate Halloween with the 19th annual Children’s Haunted Playground at Clarke Park from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The cost is $5 per child, but children ages three and under are free.
