The Avon store on Main Street will be hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The two day event will also double as their five year anniversary celebration. Before opening in town, Owner Diana Cavanaugh had a similar store in Wakefield for about five years. The opening will feature sales both days, raffles and refreshments.
"In addition to the Avon sales, I can sign people up that would like to start an Avon business of their own," Cavanaugh said.
Cavanaugh and her husband Ryan opened the Avon Beauty Center in early September. Most of the Avon line, including makeup, skin care, body products and perfume, is in stock at the store. They also stock a wide variety of gifts including Burts Bees products, candles, clothing, glycerin soaps from Primal Elements, jewelry, slippers, American Girl dolls, Halloween accessories and more.
