Sunrise Bagels Relocating and More Nearby Bites

Sunrise Bagels Moving to Wilmington

Sunrise Bagels is planning to move to Wilmington in May. According to owner Larry Cutts, they are closing their North Reading location and it will not be a bagel shop when they open in Wilmington.

The new shop will be open at 355 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington. The Wilmington Selectmen voted to approve a common victualer license for the restaurant last week.

D’Amici’s Bakery Opening in M.F. Charles Building

D'Amici's Bakery will soon open in the M.F. Charles Building on Main Street. Owners and Wakefield residents Sarah and Joe Torretta are planning to apply for building permits in the next couple of weeks and hope to open the bakery early this summer.

D’Amici’s originally opened in Lynn in 1993. They have two other locations in Wakefield and Melrose. The bakery features pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, tortes, panninis, sandwiches, cappucino and more.

Lynnfield

Two More MarketStreet Lynnfield Liquor Licenses Approved

Liquor licenses were approved for the Yard House and for Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse at the MarketStreet development in Lynnfield. The Yard House restaurant will be 10,000 square feet, and a 1,700 square foot covered patio is also planned.

Selectmen also heard from Steve DiFillippo, who grew up in Lynnfield and who founded Davio's on Newbury Street in Boston as the restaurant's first chef.  According to DiFillippo, he hopes to open the new Davio's in Lynnfield on Aug. 21. He added that the tentative opening date for the overall MarketStreet complex is Aug. 22.

Wilmington

Sunrise Bagels Moving to Wilmington

Sunrise Bagels is planning to move to Wilmington in May. According to owner Larry Cutts, they are closing their North Reading location and will not be a bagel shop when they open in Wilmington.

The new shop will be open at 355 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington. The Wilmington Selectmen voted to approve a common victualer license for the restaurant last week. They plan to change the menu up a bit in the new location, especially the breakfast menu, Cutts said.
