Theresa's Prime Plans to Open This Fall

Owner of Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton Nick Yebba, Sr. has taken over the restaurants and function room at the Thomson Country Club and plans to open the restaurants this fall.

Yebba purchased parts of the club, meaning everything except for the golf club itself, for $2.2 million and has been working on $3 million in renovations, he said. The pools and tennis courts, which are now called Resorts North, are complete and were open this summer.

You need a membership to use the pools and tennis courts, but the restaurants are open to the public. Theresa’s Prime and Grill 19 should be open this fall.

Theresa's Prime will be a steakhouse, and according to Chef Jason they are still working on the menu. Yebba referred to the eatery as a "high end, moderately priced restaurant."

Grill 19 will be located downstairs in the facility and has 40 seats at the bar, high top tables and booths. The grill also features big screen televisions. The food served at the grill will be less expensive than Theresa's and the menu will feature pub food such as hamburgers, sandwiches and pizza.

"Fun stuff," Chef Jason said.
