A Look Ahead at 2014: Sandra Bullock is Turning 50 and More Birthdays

As the new year begins, book stores are full of almanacs and other time capsules reflecting on the year that was.

Throughout the last few weeks, we’ve been taking a look at some of features in the World Almanac and Book of Facts 2014, which was released in print in November and in e-publication in December.

Let’s take a look at which celebrities will be celebrating milestone birthdays in 2014.

• Turning 90 this year are: former Presidents George H. W. Bush and Jimmy Carter.
• Celebrating the big 8-0 are: Baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, actor Donald Sutherland and actress Sophia Loren.
• Those celebrating 70 are: Musicians Jimmy Page and Roger Daltrey, along with Star Wars film director George Lucas. Founder of Saturday Night Live, Lorne Michaels, also turns 70 this year.
• Radio personality Howard Stern, and TV icons Oprah Winfrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Ron Howard and Al Roker all turn 60 in 2014.
• Celebrating 50 years on Planet Earth this year is: film star Nicolas Cage, First Lady Michelle Obama, actor Rob Lowe, and Speed stars Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves.
• Blowing out 40 candles on the birthday cake this year are: TV star Jimmy Fallon, Batman Christian Bale and the “King of the World”, Titanic star, Leonardo DiCaprio.
• Founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg and England’s Prince Harry celebrate 30 in 2014.
