With the news that Got Books has filed for bankruptcy, and those big bins will be leaving town, where can you discard those books you've wanted to recycle?
Bring them to the Flint Memorial Library!
Behind the library, there is a bin for Big Hearted Books. Leave your books in the BHB bin, and the books will be used during the library's book sales in the fall and spring. The proceeds of the sales helps pay for programs at the library.
The books not used at the library's book sales are distributed by Big Hearted Books to various other library sales in Massachusetts, as well as hospitals, schools, senior citizen centers, prisons, and the military.
