Why go: Cheer on players from both North Reading and Reading that attend Austin Prep while they play Malden Catholic for the state championship title in the Super 8 tournament.

CELEBRATE ST. PATRICK'S DAY

Why go: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with corned beef and cabbage, green beer and lot's of fun.

Why go: The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Buy Local” weekend. When you shop any of the participating stores, your name will be entered into a raffle to win a free gift basket containing gift items from over 15 area businesses with items such as restaurant gift certificates, free music lessons, gourmet chocolates, jewelry and more.         

NEW ORLEANS NIGHT
Where/when: Reading Memorial High School, Friday at 7 p.m.  
Why go: Stop by the high school for an evening of complimentary Cajun food and a night of Jazz Music preformed by student bands.

FREE CAR WASH
Where/when: Flo's Auto Bath, Wakefield, this weekend
Why go: In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Flo's Auto Bath is giving away three free car washes to owners of environmentally-green vehicles that are powered by alternative fuel resources. To receive your free washes, be one of the first 20 people to post before and after photos of your environmentally-friendly vehicle being washed at Flo's Auto Bath on their Facebook page.
