Today is Tuesday, April 2. Here are five things to know today:

1. Weather. The temperature will reach 41 degrees today with a low of 23. Expect partly sunny skies.  

2. North Reading Selectmen. The selectmen will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. A meeting with auditors to review 2013 financials and budget hearings are both items on the agenda.

3. Reading Local Election. The local election is today. Reading residents should stop by the field house at Reading Memorial High School to vote between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
