North Reading's Ryan Fitzgerald is already making a name for himself at Boston College.
The first-year forward won BC's first Hockey East award this season after winning the Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week. Fitzgerald's week included strong performances against Northeastern.
He scored the game winner in a 4-2 win over Northeastern on Friday and scored his third goal of the season the following night.
Fitzgerald is tied for 28th amongst all rookie skaters across the nation. He's averaging .71 points per game. He is seventh in Hockey East.
Boston College will play rival Boston University at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Agganis Arena. The Eagles next home game is at 3 p.m. Sunday against Army.
