Lawn Mower Reported Stolen from Westchester Road

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, May 8

  • At 8:37 a.m., a Westchester Road resident reported that his lawn mower was taken from his backyard during the night. Police found that the mower was accidentally picked up for a repair service.
  • At 5 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on North Street. Two cars were towed from the scene.
  • At 7:10 p.m., a caller reported a driver operating erratically on Main Street. Police checked the area, but did not find anything.

Thursday, May 9

  • At 1 a.m., a caller reported that a porta potty on Ten Rod Way was knocked over.
  • At 2:15 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. Two cars were towed from the scene.
