Meet New Police Officer Haggerty

The North Reading Police Department recently hired a new police officer, Ryan Haggerty.

Haggerty was transferred from the Haverhill Police Department where he previously worked for four years. He also served in the United States Air Force for four years, starting in 2004.

“We began an extensive hiring process at the beginning of July. The appointment of Ryan provides our department with an experienced officer of high integrity and solid character," Chief Michael Murphy said. "I’m confident Ryan’s transition from the Haverhill Police Department to the North Reading Police Department will be beneficial to the Town of North Reading, the North Reading Police Department and the Haggerty family. We’re looking forward to welcoming Ryan to our organization.”
