A North Reading man has been charged with drunk driving for the third time after he crashed into a pole on Main Street, knocking it to the ground.

Police arrested Marco DiPietrantonio, 45, 320 Main St., North Reading, on Tuesday evening and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (third offense), speeding, a lights violation and failing to stay within marked lanes.
