Police Log: Burlington Man Charged With Receiving Stolen Property

Friday, April 4

At 11:40 a.m., police arrested Kyle R. Winn, 27, 26 Beacon St., Apt. 4D, Burlington, and charged him with receiving stolen property more than $250. Police made the arrest after an investigation into a theft from Main Street.

At 12:46 p.m., a North Reading resident reported crank calls and asked how to stop them. Police provided the person with information.

At 2:08 p.m., police disposed of a hypodermic needle found on the sidewalk of Park Street.

At 3:09 p.m., a bus driver told police that a driver drove past three buses near the Batcheler School and gave the buses the finger. Police cited the driver for passing the buses.

Saturday, April 5

At 8:43 p.m., police summonsed a 33-year-old Reading man to court and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Police summonsed the man after a car accident on Main Street.

At 10:50 p.m., a Central Street resident reported someone egged his house. The vehicle that was involved fled the area toward North Street.

 

Sunday, April 6

At 2:23 p.m., an employee at Walmart reported juveniles were trying to shoplift knives. Walmart gave the youths no trespass orders and police called their parents to pick them up.

At 6:06 p.m., a person called police about two men trying to ride an old motorcyle on Park Street near Damon Street. The caller was concerned that the motorcycle wasn’t road-worthy. Police could not find the motorcycle.
