Police Log: North Andover Man Charged With Drunk Driving

The following information was supplied by the North Reading police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Dec. 2

At 10:39 a.m., a North Street resident reported someone stole a backpack blower valued at $200 from a shed.

At 7:04 p.m., a Walmart employee reported a shoplifting. The store gave the alleged shoplifter a no trespass order.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

At 3:28 p.m., police arrested Diane C. Doucette, 44, 208 Main St., Apt. 1, North Reading, and charged her on a warrant. Police made the arrest on Lowell Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

At 11:23 a.m., police summonsed a Saugus man for larceny under $250. Police summonsed the man after a woman said her account was comprised.

At 2:30 p.m., a Walmart employee reported a shoplifter stole two phone cases and fled the store. Police spoke to the alleged shoplifter who admitted to stealing an iPad cover and then threw it out of his window when he left the parking lot. Walmart issued a no trespass order to the man.

At 3:08 p.m., police arrested Anand Ashok Khedekar, 29, 9 Royal Crest Estates, Apt. 3, North Andover, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor and speeding. Police pulled over the man at North and Main streets.
