Police Log: Shoplifter Steals 50-Inch TV From Walmart

Tuesday, Nov. 5
At 4:34 p.m., a woman reported an aggressive driver on Lowell Road. She was reportedly trying to back into a parking spot when another driver sped in the parking lot. He reportedly called her names and used a hand gesture to show his displeasure. She wanted to file the incident with police.
At 8:08 p.m., a Walmart employee reported someone stole a 50-inch television. The person is known to Walmart security. The man fled the store before police arrived.
At 8:33 p.m., police arrested John C. Crawford, 44, 238 North St., North Reading, and charged him on a warrant (operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor – second offense).

Wednesday, Nov. 6
At 8:23 a.m., police received a call from Main Street after a vehicle struck a fence.

At 8:10 p.m., a driver reported striking a deer on Haverhill Street. The deer hobbled into the woods.
Thursday, Nov. 7
At 7:03 a.m., police responded to North Street and Lowell Road about a two-car accident. There were no injuries, but one car was towed.
At 9:41 a.m., police received a call from a Haverhill Street residence after someone tried to steal copper wiring off a home.
