North Reading Town Administrator Greg Balukonis, who is not looking to extend his contract when it expires this year, is one of three finalists for the town manager post in Dracut, according to the Lowell Sun.
The newspaper reported that Balukonis, Salem, NH Town Manager Keith Hickey and Gloucester Chief Administrative Officer James Duggan are all in the running for the job. The names of the finalists were presented to the Dracut Board of Selectmen on Tuesday night. The next step will be for the board to set up public interviews with the three finalists.
The North Reading Board of Selectmen is currently working on creating the process and naming a search committee for Balukonis' replacement.
