DPW Expands Trash Collection

Two streets will now have weekly curbside trash collection.

As part of the new solid waste contract, the town is expanding curbside trash collection to two additional streets starting on Dec. 17.

Weekly curbside trash collection will be expanded to Adams Street and Dogwood Lane starting on Tuesday, Dec. 17.

Residents of those streets will no longer need to take their trash or bulky items to the Swan Pond Road Dumpster.

“The looping of Dogwood Lane allowed the large trash trucks to safely access your streets,” according to the North Reading Department of Public Works.

Trash barrels should be on the curb no later than 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
