Entire ZBA Resigns; Selectmen Reject the Members' Resignations

The Zoning Board of Appeals' issue involved comments made by Selectman Mike Prisco at a recent meeting.

The entire Zoning Board of Appeals resigned during a heated Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Monday.

The ZBA members were upset with comments made by Selectman Mike Prisco during a previous selectmen’s meeting.

The back and forth between ZBA and Board of Selectmen members went on for more than an hour (mostly between Prisco and the ZBA's Paul O’Leary who were critical of one another).

The selectmen ultimately unanimously rejected the Zoning Board of Appeals members’ resignations so the ZBA remains intact. In a second vote, the selectmen voted 4-1 in favor of reappointing O’Leary to another term. Prisco voted against the reappointment.
