Representative Jones Secured Funding For Safety Program

House Minority Leader Bradley H. Jones, Jr. and Senate Minority Leader Bruce E. Tarr recently announced that they secured $25,000 in funding for a child safety grant for North Reading, according to a recent release. The grant will be used to fund the Community Impact Team (CIT).

“This grant will go a long way in enabling the Town of North Reading and the Community Impact Team to raise awareness about substance abuse in the community,” Jones in a release. “The outreach programs being formed are vitally important in helping to increase public safety.”

The CIT's goal is to reduce drug use in town, educate youth about the risk of substance abuse and more, the release said.
