North Reading is expected to get 10 to 14 inches of snow.

With the potential of more than a foot of snow headed our way, the North Reading Public Schools are cancelled for Thursday and Friday.

Schools have been closed since Dec. 23 because of the break and now students will get four more days of vacation.

The latest forecast shows that North Reading will likely get 10 to 14 inches of snow. Snow should start overnight or Thursday morning. It will intensify and will be at its worse on Thursday night into Friday morning. Forecasters warn that the area may face blizzard conditions on Thursday night and Friday morning.
