Carpenter Scores Second Goal at Olympics

North Reading’s Alex Carpenter netted her second goal of the Olympics during a 9-0 win over Switzerland on Monday.

The U.S. Women’s Hockey team scored five first-period goals, including three in 55 seconds, which is an Olympic record.

Carpenter scored the team’s ninth goal on a breakaway at 15:39 of the third period.
