Zoltan and DonnaD............. It was very widely reported on every media station in Boston when heRead More made this choice. It's pretty sad that the Mass. State Police pushed him to make that decision.

Gov Patrick thinks its the Kingdom of Massachusetts ! Deval Patrick said at the Boston MarathonRead More event today, "We share the same fears, the same hopes, the same community," Don't believe a word he says ! Massachusetts has been suffering from commercial wind turbine torture for four years he has done nothing to stop it. Falmouth Massachusetts is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States - For the sake of humanity stop the torture !

Good lord, Frank nobody on this site cares. I do not understand what you think you will accomplishRead More here? If you really cared you'd spend your time writing and calling town and state reps, writing actual columns, gathering signatures, trying to get on local news. This argument is copied, pasted and weak. No backup, no evidence, no basis. Give it a rest.

Thanks for the response. Were you there? What does that mean really? Were you? All I'm doing isRead More asking questions that need to be asked, am I free to ask questions and get answers? Someone committed suicide after being pegged the bomber? That's a new one - who?

@Kim Johnson- don't be silly Kim. Barry 's been in charge for 6 yrs now and could of appointed OprahRead More to that position if he wanted to. .
Bruce Cummings April 15, 2014 at 10:05 pm
@Kim Johnson. Not that it matters, but you have your facts wrong. President Barack Obama nominatedRead More Leonhart for the position of DEA Administrator on 2/2/2010. The issue here is people should be able to shop at a store without being followed or have the NSA track each word I am typing.
knee jerk April 15, 2014 at 10:15 pm
I'll do my shopping in either Lowe's or Wal-Mart's garden centers, at least for now, and only useRead More cash.

Re: the billboards crashing on Main St. I drove past the billboards after they collapsed. Do youRead More know which company was responsible for maintaining these billboards and why their condition was allowed to deteriorate to this point?
Eileen M. April 15, 2014 at 03:28 pm
All of 28 has been allowed to deteriorate. Maybe that nasty garage across from Walgreens willRead More collapse next.

Which came first, the sociopathic leadership or the seriously dysfunctional populace? I suspect theRead More answer is both and neither. The potentially lethal mistake we all tend to make is in believing that there is only one flavor of crazy. There are in fact seven billion variations of the base product, uniquely customized in cut, color and clarity to meet our own individual needs and perceptions. So in effect the problem is not they, those and them, but us, we and me. The ultimate act of freedom is to seriously consider breaking the chains that bind us. And those chains are not physical and won’t be found binding our wrists or ankles, but rather they are self imposed upon our own minds. Freedom, true freedom, can only begin when we willing choose to start down the path of personal sovereignty and total personal accountability.

that's obama's home town. not that he showed up as a senator when we was one. too bad he isn't asRead More delinquent as Commander In Chief in the White House. He sucks hugely. A huge waste of a human being.
Stu Pidasso April 16, 2014 at 12:54 am
true dat. there is alot of waste in this country, perhaps tis the reason we are trillions of dollarsRead More in the hole!! Our Founding Fathers would be rolling in their graves if they knew what is going on in our country, going right down the shitter......

This was out in my neck of the woods. All really great kids, college bound and starting their adultRead More lives. Having lost a child, I can say these families will mourn for as long as they live, and will have to find a "new normal" as EVERYTHING is changed for them now...I wish them strength, there is nothing quite like burying a child. Appreciated are the messages of respect and sympathy. It can be annoying to get news from areas other than your own, however the new Patch is doing things differently, and show no evidence of changing it back.....my best advice would be to ignore stories not in your area, and to write your editor directly, and share your comments with those who can make changes.

Kathleen April 15, 2014 at 09:47 pm
OK, let me take a wild guess here...This is Massachusetts so it shouldn't be that difficult toRead More figure it out. These two crack heads in their 40's are on SSI, claiming some phony disability and are living on SSI in a Section 8 apartment in a senior complex. Probably a good guess right? They put senior citizens in grave danger and will probably get a slap on the wrist and sent right back to live in the elderly housing... just a guess of course but probably pretty accurate. Either that or they are living in an apartment with one of their parents and are not on the lease but yet still live there...only in MA!
Geoff Burton April 15, 2014 at 10:40 pm
Kathleen I don't get the Massachusetts reference, having said that I think your about right.
century April 15, 2014 at 11:30 pm
Kathleen, your right. As for housing, the less number of homeless, the more grant money the city andRead More state receives for housing. It happens all the time in Pennsylvania. Free loaders like the crackheads mentioned in the story is why people who have legimate disabilities are judged as liars and have to fight for their rights.

It says Around Town but the headline is UTAH. Utah is not near Natick!! I think everyone should notRead More open an article on Patch unless they see their town's name in the headline. So If it doesn't say Natick, then we all know it is not LOCAL to the Natick Patch. The less clicks these Patch sites get, the fewer advertisers they will get and then perhaps they will realize if we want sensational news from across the country we'd go back to Patch's former owners AOL and the HuffPost! Those here from other Patch sites - I think you should do the same only click on articles that mention your community's name. No name. No click!

You can bet Ayaan Hirsi Ali won't be speaking at any of these higher institutions of liberal leftRead More hypocrisy. Too bad Che Guevara and Hugo Chavez aren't available.
Bob April 12, 2014 at 06:31 pm
Robert - amazing isn't it? She is speaking out against women being mutilated and for getting themRead More educated and the left hates her! Flipping up side down country we now live in! PC gone haywire. Let's not offend the practitioners of the cult that kills thousands of their own people over religion and shoot a little girl in the face because she wants an education!

I am sad to learn of this. While I never shopped with them, I think they had wonderful stylishRead More quality clothing. I don't think high prices had anything to do with their closing. The retail business today is very difficult to be in. Retail prices should be on the high side for this type of product. People need to earn a living! I always hate to hear when a business closes.
J. Parker April 15, 2014 at 03:29 pm
: ( So very disappointing. Seeing all the sales they were offering was a tip. I used to buy fromRead More their catalog years ago and was happy to see them close to home. The young people of today are into styles unappealing to those of us who prefer the classic look, but lately could not find anything that cried "buy me" on the racks. There was a time that their clothes reeked of class......What happened?
