Kids, you’re invited to the 17th Annual Martin’s Pond Children’s Fishing Derby at Clarke Park. There will be a prize for Catch of the Day and prizes in 3 age categories. Bring a rod, bucket and bait. Members of the Wildside Bass Club will on hand to help and offer pointers. After fishing, lunch will be provided. The entire event is free.
Register at the Clarke Park on Burroughs Road in North Reading, MA between 8:00am and 9:30am. The first 75 children to register will receive a free hat and a surprise.
The Children’s Fishing Derby is sponsored by the Wildside Bass Club and Martin’s Pond Association. Generous contributions by local sponsors allow the derby to be free.
