The North Reading Fourth of July events kick off at noon Saturday, July 5 at Ipswich River Park.
The chance of torrential rain and wind from Hurricane Arthur caused organizers to postpone the event from the holiday to Saturday.
The event will include a carnival, vendors, food -- and of course fireworks.
The fireworks are planned to go off at about 9:30 p.m. Watch a video of a portion of last year's fireworks display.
